Acceptable use policy
Updated 29 Oct 2026
Effective 29 October 2026
Sure Plugger only works when everyone on it is honest. This policy applies to everyone who uses our website, our WhatsApp line, our agents or our introductions: wholesalers, resellers, buyers and visitors.
You must not
Be dishonest
- Give false information about yourself, your business, your shop or your stock.
- Pose as a wholesaler, reseller, buyer, field agent or member of Sure Plugger staff.
- Use someone else's photos, name or shop to look verified.
- Use or display our Sure Verified badge if you have not been verified, or after it has expired or been withdrawn.
Harm other people
- Use introductions to scam, harass, threaten or spam anyone.
- Share a wholesaler's or reseller's contact details with others, or post them publicly, without their consent.
- Collect people's details from our platform to build your own lists.
- Send unsolicited promotional messages to people we introduced you to. Reply to what they asked about.
Sell what you shouldn't
- Offer counterfeit, stolen, unsafe or illegal goods.
- Misdescribe goods, quantities, prices or delivery terms.
Misuse the platform
- Pay or accept payment in a way that avoids our process to get around the introduction fee.
- Scrape the site, or try to break, overload or gain access to systems you are not meant to use.
- Ask for or offer money to an agent or staff member to get listed or verified. Verification is never for sale.
What happens if you break these rules
Depending on what happened, we may:
- warn you,
- remove a listing or withdraw a Sure Verified badge,
- stop introducing you to others,
- suspend or close your access, and
- report illegal activity to the police or other authorities, and give them the information they require.
We don't have to give notice first when someone is at risk. If you think we got it wrong, message us and we will look again.
Report a problem
Message us on WhatsApp with the wholesaler's ID (for example SP-0142), or the name and number of the person involved, and tell us what happened. Screenshots and payment references help. We take every report seriously and keep your report confidential where we can.
If someone is in immediate danger, or you have been robbed or defrauded, report it to the Nigeria Police Force as well.
